Dan Lewis is the co-anchor of our weekday editions of KOMO 4 News at 5, 6 and 11 p.m.

At 5 p.m., Dan anchors with Eric Johnson. At 6 and11 p.m., Dan's co-anchor is Mary Nam.

Dan came to KOMO-TV in 1987 and was quickly paired with Kathi
Goertzen - a team that stayed together until just recently when Kathi resumed her battle with a brain tumor. Kathi is recovering and doing special reports for KOMO 4 News and we all hope one day soon she and Dan will be anchoring together again!

A critically-acclaimed reporter as well as anchor, Lewis has earned more than a dozen Emmys at KOMO television. His career has taken him around the world covering major stories in Africa, Poland, France, Japan, South America, the Middle East and the Philippines.

Lewis has interviewed Presidents Carter, Reagan and Bush and was the first reporter to interview Bill Clinton at the White House after his election.

In June of this year, the National Association of Arts & Sciences inducted Dan into its prestigious Silver Circle.

In his spare time Dan enjoys spending time with family, traveling, playing golf and working out at the gym.
