Pecan Eggnog Bread Pudding

3 cups egg nog
8 slices stale whole wheat bread
1 cup dried fruit bits (I used cranberries!)
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 tbsp brown sugar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Cut the bread slices into one inch cubes and place into large mixing bowl. Add egg nog, the dried fruit bits and chopped pecan pieces. Mix well and let sit for about 10 minutes.

Pour into greased square baking pan and bake 30 to 45 mins or until knife comes out clean.

Sprinkle the brown sugar over the bread pudding.
