Peanut Butter and Jelly BreadBy Marlee Ginter
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1/2 c. sugar (I used 1/4 cup sugar and 2 tbs strawberry preserves instead!) 2 eggs 2 tbsp. jelly 3/4 c. peanut butter 1 1/4 c. milk Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in large bowl. Mix in peanut butter with a fork until crumbly. Set aside. Beat eggs slightly add milk to eggs. Add milk mixture to flour mixture. Stir just enough to mix. Pour half the batter into the pan, spread jelly over it, then pour other half of the batter in so there's a layer of jelly in the middle of the loaf. Bake in greased bread pan 1/2 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. |
