KOMO 4 TV Shrimp Omelet
8 eggs
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1/2 cup chopped canned mushrooms
1 cup grated medium cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded shrimp

Preheat oven to 350.

Separate eggs. Beat egg whites until stiff. Beat egg yolks with salt and pepper to taste. Fold yolks into egg whites.

• 4 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 cup cold water
• Roughly 1 cup crushed pineapple (depending on how much you stuff the dumplings!)
• 1 cup vegetable oil for frying

Ingredients

For the pastry:

• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 2 tablespoons granulated or superfine sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
• 1/4 pound (1 stick) very cold unsalted butter, diced

For the filling:

• 1 1/2 pounds McIntosh, Macoun, or Empire apples (5 medium) (Michelle used Granny Smith)

1 cup all purpose flour
1 tbsp cocoa powder

Preheat a lightly greased or nonstick skillet on the stove top.

1 can corned beef hash
3 strips cooked bacon and crumbled
1/2 can sauerkraut
1 medium onion finely chopped
1 tbs fresh parsley finely chopped
3 medium potatoes boiled and cut into thick chunks
1 tbs minced garlic
1 tbs butter

Saute onion and sauerkraut in butter and garlic. Set aside.

2 Tbsp butter
3 cups cooked elbow pasta
5 eggs
1 Tbsp milk
1/4 tsp salt (or less is using a salty cheese)
Pinch of pepper (you can use white pepper too)
Pinch of onion powder (optional)
4 oz grated Cheddar cheese
1 cup chopped broccoli
1/2 cup diced sauted onions
1/4 cup unflavored bread crumbs

1 box yellow cake mix
1 1/2 cup rolled oats
3/4 cup melted butter
1 jar jam (12 to 14 oz) (You can use any flavor. I used peach but mango sounds good too!)

Preheat oven to 375.

Mix cake mix and oats. Stir in melted butter until crumbly. Press 3 cups of mixture into 9x9 square pan.

1 package Puff Pastry Sheets (2 sheets), thawed
1/2 cup whipping cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1/4 cup well drained, crushed pineapple
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Heat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Unfold 1 pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.

3 cups egg nog
8 slices stale whole wheat bread
1 cup dried fruit bits (I used cranberries!)
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 tbsp brown sugar
