KOMO 4 TV Apple Cider Breakfast Bars
1 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup Litehouse Apple Cider
1 tbsp vanilla
1 egg
1 1/2 cups all purpose or whole wheat flour
1 cup old fashioned or quick cooking oats
1 cup raisins or cranraisins
1/2 cup dried apples, chopped fine ( I chopped fresh apples!)
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
4 cups Toasted O's cereal

Heat oven to 375 degrees
KOMO 4 TV Cranberry Chocolate Chip Pancakes
2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. oil or melted shortening
1 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup chocolate chips ( I used a full cup - but that may be a bit much!)

Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a large bowl; set aside.
KOMO 4 TV Eggnog Pecan Waffles
2 cups flour
2 cups eggnog
1 cup finely chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
2 large eggs - beaten
6 Tablespoons vegetable oil
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

In a large bowl, sift the flour with the baking powder, baking soda and salt.
KOMO 4 TV Apple Crisp with Cranberry Sauce
4 Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored and sliced
1 1/2 cups whole berry cranberry sauce
1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
1 cup rolled oats
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
2/3 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup butter, melted

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
KOMO 4 TV Turkey Cranberry Pinwheels
1 package refrigerated crescent rolls
Leftover turkey
Leftover cranberry sauce
3 oz. cream cheese

Unroll the crescent rolls and separate into rectangles. (You'll have to press the seams together.) You'll have four rectangles.

Spread cream cheese on each rectangle.
KOMO 4 TV Glazed Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Biscotti
2 1/2 cups of flour
1 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
Pinch of ginger
Pinch of cloves
Pinch of salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup of pumpkin purée
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups white sugar
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup canned pumpkin puree
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 cups peeled, cored and chopped apple
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 teaspoons butter

KOMO 4 TV Sweet Potato Hash Browns
Put some olive oil in a skillet (one of those non-stick ones) and heat it up

Grate a raw sweet potato

Chop some onions

Chop some red peppers (not bell – the long skinny ones)

Throw it in the stuff above, then the stuff below.

(2 servings)

2 mini pumpkins, cut across the top, seeded and cleaned (I used one small sugar pumpkin cut in half.
KOMO 4 TV Sweet Potato Apple Fritters
2 cups mashed sweet potatoes
1 cup finely chopped apple ( I used Gala because they're sweet!)
1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
4 teaspoons melted butter
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon sugar

Combine melted butter with potatoes, sugar, milk and egg yolks.
KOMO 4 TV Denise’s Pumpkin Scones
2 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup pumpkin
2 cups self-rising flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cloves

Grease a cookie sheet or scone tray. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cream together the butter and sugar. Beat in egg. Then add pumpkin and mix well.
KOMO 4 TV Marlee's Key Lime Peach Pies
Ingredients:

Pre-made Pie Crust
1 small can key lime pie filling
1 peach finely diced
1 egg yolk

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut pie crust into rectangles.
KOMO 4 TV Pumpkin Blueberry Bread
2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsps nutmeg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Mix all the above ingredients together in a mixer until blended.
KOMO 4 TV Bacon and Cheese Tartlets
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
1/3 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1/4 cup chopped cooked bacon
1 tablespoon chopped green onion
1 egg
3 tablespoons whipping cream

DIRECTIONS

• Heat oven to 375°F.

• Unroll dough

• Cut dough into 12 squares.
KOMO 4 TV Peach Bread Pudding Muffins
4 c. cubed stale bread (I used wheat)
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 egg whites
1 peach, sliced
2 1/2 c. milk
2 egg yolks
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Juice of 1 lemon
Lemon rind, grated
Sliced almonds for topping

Combine milk and cubed bread.
