Gary Burleigh is glad to be back in Seattle and proud to be part of the KOMO 1000 news team. Gary joined the staff in January of 2007. You can hear him on the weekend anchoring the overnight news.

Gary's career began in the Northwest joining the staff of KJR in 1969 as an air personality. He left the market in 1975 and spent the next 30 years in the South working in several cities. His background includes stints as a morning show newsman/sidekick and as a news anchor. He also worked in promotion for Elektra records for five years.

Gary spends his spare time these days enjoying his hometown again. He also is an admitted media junkie and an avid movie buff.
