Nancy Barrick is a second-generation Seattleite. She graduated from Shorecrest High School in1970 and received a degree in International Studies at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon.

She worked at KIRO and KCMS in the early 1970’s before spending the next 12 years raising her three children. She then resumed her career at Metro Traffic, which later earned her a second stint at KIRO, where she spent five years before deciding to take her talents to KOMO 1000 News.

Nancy lives in Lake City where she and her husband recently celebrated their 25th anniversary. Nancy spends her time away from KOMO caring for her family, reading history, and gardening.
