Good things happen around food and wine. That's Julien Perry's philosophy, and the reason she created "Go Eat!"

For the past four years, Julien has been introducing KOMO Newsradio listeners to local chefs and restaurateurs in hopes of sparking their interest in Northwest dining.

Born and raised in Vancouver, WA, Julien cultivated her passion for Seattle's restaurant scene while earning her Broadcast Journalism degree from the University of Washington.

After six years working in news radio, both in Seattle and New York, Julien started her own catering business in the summer of 2000. She decided to give it all up 4 years later and enroll in the Baking & Pastry program at the Seattle Art Institute where she quickly gained 10 pounds and discovered she enjoys writing about food more than cooking it.
