Deep Sea, the derelict ship that caught fire and sank in Penn Cove, has reached its final resting place.
The boat was towed to Stabbert Maritime Yacht and Ship on Wednesday where it will be broken up and torn apart following the investigation into the cause of the ship's fire, said Washington State's Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
DNR says it is not sure how much it will cost to dismantle the boat.
The shipyard is expected to sell the scarp and 'credit' the proceeds against the state's costs for disposal.
DNR expects the entire disposal operation will be complete sometime in July.
