SEATTLE -- A man was stabbed in the arm and back during a verbal argument Thursday night in yet another attack at Seattle's Cal Anderson Park.
According to the Seattle Police Department, the stabbing occurred shortly before 9 p.m., and the victim, a man in his 20s, did not appear to know his attacker.
The victim walked to Broadway and East Pine Street, where he met officers and was taken to Harborview Medical Center.
Officers searched the area but were unable to find the attacker. The victim was unable to offer a detailed description of the man who stabbed him.
In the past week, there have been at least two reported robberies and three reported assaults in the park, including the stabbing of a man Sunday night.
The Seattle Police Department announced it was increasing patrols in the park May 2 after a woman was sexually assaulted while walking through the park.
