Police: Victim gets stabbed, stiffed by man sleeping with mother

SEATTLE -- There's probably no good situation under which to get stabbed in the shoulder with a two-pronged barbecue fork. But, it has to be worse when the guy doing the stabbing is sleeping with your mother and just stiffed you on a paycheck.

Unfortunately for one Seattle man, that's exactly what happened to him last week in the Central District, according to the Seattle Police Department.

Officers met the victim at Swedish Hospital where he was being treated for puncture wounds to his shoulder, scratches to his ribs and chest and a cut to his neck.

The victim told officers he went to the suspect's house Wednesday afternoon thinking the suspect was going to pay him for a job they had worked together that morning. But, when the victim got there the suspect said he didn't have any money for him.

According to the police report for the incident, both men, who had been drinking, became angry and got into a fight.

The victim told officers the suspect grabbed a barbecue fork out of the sink and attacked him with it, stabbing him in the shoulder and scraping him up a bit.

According to the report, the victim was able to get the suspect in a headlock and have the suspect's sister take away the fork.

The victim went outside and the suspect followed, grabbing a piece of wood from his truck and hitting the victim in the back of the head with it, according to the report.

The victim was able to get into his car and drive back to his mother's house. He told officers his mother is currently sleeping with the suspect.
