Police: Drunken, diapered man pees all over patrol car
SEATTLE -- In an incident that could elicit sympathy from even the SPD's harshest critics, a diapered, drunken man urinated all over the back of a patrol car Sunday night, leaving officers to deal with the mess, according to the Seattle Police Department.
According to police, the man was brought into Harborview Medical Center earlier that night and was so drunk he had to be restrained to a bed.
Despite being restrained, the man still managed to remove his genitals from his pants and proceeded to urinate on the floor, according to police.
Nurses at Harborview later told officers they were forced to put a diaper on the man after he said he didn't care where he peed or who he peed on.
While forcibly diapering him, the man spit in the face of one of the nurses, according to police.
Officers arrived and arrested the man on suspicion of assault.
According to police, while officers were transporting the still-diapered man he threatened to urinate in their patrol car if they didn't give his pants back.
They didn't, and the man let loose a pee that will cost SPD $123 per hour to clean up, according to police.
The man was booked into King County Jail.
This is NEWS??? This happens rather often in patrol cars: notice that they always have un-perforated plain vinyl upholstery in the rear seats.
I dunno - I'm thinking "justifiable officer involved shooting."Â
@Smokin Bear He WARNED them... he evidently had to go! Next time you visit the loo, maybe someone will be waiting to shoot you?
You seem to think shooting people is the solution to just every problem, don't you? Just like that Lanza kid, eh?
@JLS1950  @Smokin Bear Sad attempt at humor and in Very bad taste.  Sorry man.  Just not funny.
@Smokin Bear Had I meant to be funny, you'd have laughed.
Wait for him to wake up tomorrow and make him go out there and clean it up!
@gh  Right on.  Beat me to it - I was thinking the exact same thing.  And, sober him up then make him apologize to the nurses he spit on.  What a PIG.
Jail will help him immensely. Too bad rubber hoses were banned.
Oh wait! KOMO actually published this as news?   While I appreciate the chuckle at the end of a hard days work, I dont think its news worthy.....
And drinking is so much fun....Never understood the appeal, took me but 1 hangover in my early 20s to never touch the stuff. Waiting for MaryJane bars.
Seems funny this is the kind of whack jobs we get in Washington. But I guess they are all over.Â
Harborview nurses are THE BEST!!!!
And this made the news? Now the police are the laughingstock of America!!!
Someone likes to show off his genitals in public, doesn't he?
I want to hire that guy to show up as a guest at my ex's next party! LOL!!!
If only alcohol were banned, there would be no more alcohol and no more alcohol crime. Wait.. didn't we try that already?
Â
As for arraignment:

The Pee-ple versus  John Doh-!Â
Â
Or will it be heard by a Justice of the P***?
Holy Buckets, What we need here is a picture and a name! Now, that would be justice!
Didn't the idiot know who he was messing with? SPD has thumped perps for a lot less. It may be curious as to how many times he "fell" between the hospital and jail. Should just rub his nose in the pee
Rumor has it --- R.Kelly empathized with this drunken patron, and is fronting him his bail money.
@Mr.Truth If there had been a young girl in the back of the squad car I may of thought it was R. Kelly.
R. Kelly printed out this article... and took it into a private secluded place.
Just goes to show that even babies get drunk!
Doesn't KOMO not KNOW this kind of stuff happens all the time? Really???????????
They not only have to clean up pee, but puke, feces, and whatever heck else dirtbags expel.
Happens alllll the time. Another facet of police work that's overlooked.
Â
@fredfarley  They had to put up with the drunk guy (its the line of work they signed on for) but it sounds like the police didnt have to clean that stuff up since " a pee that will cost SPD $123 per hour to clean up", sounds like we the tax payers are paying someone else to dispose of that. I actually agree that someone besides the police should be paid to do that and $123 per hour sounds cheap. I would consider other peoples bodily fluids to be something someone is trained to clean and dispose of properly and that service wont be free.
@fredfarley I drive a shuttle to and from the airport. The other day, I had to drive two kids with the stomach flu, both were vomiting right behind me. Time to call KOMO!
Im sooOOOoo with you tkyed~ I dont Know WHY I found this so funny but.... I did~ Well everything except the part where he spit in the nurses face~ That mighta... landed me in a jail cell next to him ;) kiddin... I think
Short article of 206 words with 7 occurrences of pee or urinate .... my kids would have enjoyed this.
Next time stuff his a** in the trunk.
I haven't laughed this hard in a long time :)
@tkyed Yeah, I almost peed myself laughing...
@JustOneVoice @tkyed JOKES... I love JOKES ;)
And just WHO the heck is SPD paying $123 per hour to clean cars? THAT is the most horrendous fact of this article!! No wonder the city is going down the tubes.....
@chiapetto Probably has to be some company that specializes in biological hazardous material. Silly...I'd just make the idiot clean it up himself.
@chiapetto I'd just take it to the car wash and spray it out for like 5 quarters. The backs of the cars are all molded plastic, right?
@chiapetto Please dont get me started lol Inbetween the housing authority & their fun times... the other people with the cell phones lol & they blame those WHO NEED ASSISTANCE lol if we all did the math as to how MUCH the system wastes.... holy hell, our country might be debt free ;)
@chiapetto I was going to agree with you, but then I realized that I wouldn't clean this up for $122.
Say it, don't spray it!Â
A sure fire way to win friends and influence people.
Alcohol is bad - mmkay.
... and this is why I don't drink anymore. :)
@fumblefacedolt To many nights peeing on police cars eh...?
Must have been a fun night in county with no pants and a diaper.....

Once again a brilliant KOMO headline. If you read the headline a diapered man peed on the patrol car but he was wearing pants. I was hoping for something more salacious. Denied!
@Nic Stevens Ummm, the article states that the officers refused to give him his pants back and that's why he peed in the car. Did you not read the story?
@Tattooed_Angel  @Nic Did you not read my comment? "Once again a brilliant KOMO headline." He was not, in fact, diapered, until he was taken to Harborview.
@Nic Stevens  @Tattooed_Angel  @Nic Nic, he went to Harborview first, then got arrested.Â
Nic, actually, the way it reads, he DID have his pants on when he was first brought to Harborview. While there, he urinated on the floor and the hospital staff took his pants and put a diaper on him. After spitting on (assaulting) the nurse, SPD took him back to the patrol car to transport him, wearing only his diaper. He demanded the return on his pants, and when he didn't get them, he then urinated in the police car.  SO, as rare as it is, KOMO's headline was actually acurate this time. Â
@Nic Stevens But he WAS diapered without pants when he peed in the car.
