Man in Michael Myers mask suspected in violent Halloween robbery

SEATTLE -- Seattle got its own entry in the "Halloween" series when a man wearing a Michael Myers-style mask violently robbed a Pioneer Square business Thursday night, according to the Seattle Police Department.

According to police, an employee of the business in the Pioneer Building was reentering the building after taking a smoke break around 10:30 p.m. when someone came up behind him, pressed something into his back and forced him into the building.

The robber pushed the victim against a wall multiple times before forcing the victim to take him to the business' office and put money from a safe in a bag, according to police.

The robber reportedly ripped all the telephone cords from the wall and tried -- but failed -- to zip-tie the victim's hands behind his back.

According to police, the robber told the victim to stay in the office for 20 minutes and left. The victim called 911 after the robber left.
