Police: Lazy robber mugs victim without getting out of car

SEATTLE -- A woman robbed a man at gunpoint last Monday in Belltown without even getting out of her car, according to the Seattle Police Department.

According to the police report for the incident, the victim was walking by a parking lot in the 2100 block of Second Avenue around 2 p.m. when a black two-door Mitsubishi Eclipse covered in scratches pulled out of the lot and onto the sidewalk in front of him.

A woman sitting in the passenger seat of the Mitsubishi pointed a gun at the victim and demanded his backpack, telling the victim he better not make her get out of the car, according to the report.

The victim gave the woman his backpack, and the car drove off.

He didn't call police to report the incident until the next day.
