Thursday is the opening day for the 62nd Annual Pierce County Fair in Graham, and if you go, there will be many choices for things to do.
The fair opens at 10 a.m. each day and stays open until 10 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, the fair closes for the year at 6 p.m. Admission is $5, and so is parking, so it's a great deal!
It will be another packed year for activities, as there will be music, magicians, animal exhibits, lumberjack demonstrations and much more.
The best ways to get to the fairgrounds is either on Highway 161 (Meridian) straight south from the South Hill or from Highway 7 on 224th Street E, then north on Meridian/Highway 161.
Pierce Transit will also serve the fair with Route 402, with parking available at the South Hill Mall Transit Center.
