A missing dog is an everyday occurrence. But this one is different. This is about a dog that busted out of prison. It actually walked away on a trip outside the big house.

About 1:30 yesterday, Indy, a 50 pound neutered male German Shepherd/Australian Shepherd mix got away from a volunteer handler near downtown Gig Harbor.

Indy was a part of the Prison Pet Partnership Program at the Washington Corrections Center for Women.
Last seen near Peacock Hill and Crescent Creek Park, Indy was wearing a collar, leash and a service-in-training vest, red in color.

Indy has a Home Again microchip with the number 4A0 F7B 3A47.If you have any information on the whereabouts of Indy, please contact the Prison Pet Partnership Program at 253-858-4240 or through email at prisonpetpartnership@yahoo.com.
