ISSAQUAH, Wash. -- An Issaquah convenience store clerk was able to disarm a would-be armed robber not once but twice late Sunday, according to the Issaquah Police Department.

According to police, a woman walked into the store in the 1400 block of Northwest Sammamish Road, showed what appeared to be a handgun to the clerk, and demanded money.

The clerk fought back and was able to disarm the woman. She then pulled a knife, and he knocked that out of her hand too, according to police.

The woman ran out of the store, and the clerk was not hurt during the struggle.

Officers and a K-9 unit were unable to find the woman. Police are still looking for her.
