KIRKLAND, Wash. -- Police are looking for the man they say unsuccessfully tried to rob two Kirkland ATM users at knifepoint last week.
According to the Kirkland Police Department, the man first tried to rob someone shortly after midnight Dec. 3 at the US Bank ATM at 13233 100th Ave. N.E. The second attempted robbery occurred around 9:30 p.m. on the same day a mile and a half away at the BECU Bank ATM at 11416 N.E. 124th St.
The would-be robber was reportedly armed with a knife but left without getting anything from the victims in both instances.
