SEATTLE - A man whose body was found Thursday morning in Seattle's Discovery Park has been ruled a suicide case, police said.

Officers and fire officials responded to the scene at about 7:20 a.m. Thursday after a passer-by called 911 and said that he had come across a body of a man inside the sprawling park around 7 a.m., said Detective Mark Jamieson.

Law enforcement investigators met with the caller, who led them to the body's location.

Homicide detectives and the Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene. An investigation found that the man had killed himself.
