The weather smiled yesterday as folks from throughout the Eastside and Seattle reveled in the outdoor fun at the Kelsey Creek Farm Fair.
Little kids, strollers, critters and kettle corn were everywhere. Kids and parents stood patiently in line to ride the ponies and take their turn decorating pumpkins.
Goats were invited to jump over sticks and through hoops (I didn't actually see one perform) and woolly sheep appeared to be hyperventilating (it has been awhile since the sheep shearing).
Bellevue's Boy Scout Troop #438 sold hotdogs and sodas and after the hoedown, the troop was scheduled to help put away on the farm.
There were hayrides behind vintage tractors, a scarecrow maze and a honeybee display with samples of fresh honey made on the farm.
It was a marvelous day - thank you Bellevue Parks and Community Services!
