Senate and House lawmakers from Mercer Island are leading the charge to see if there can be no charge for island residents to use I-90, or at least a reduced toll.
Friday, Feb. 22 is the last day to submit comments to WSDOT on its I-90 tolling study.
A 15-year-old Mercer Island boy was arrested Wednesday for allegedly threatening fellow students at Mercer Island High School.
Those who oppose tolling on I-90 are pushing to get an initiative on the November ballot that would ban tolls on all interstates.
