The holidays are over and the results are in for King County's recent DUI enforcement effort.
Police departments throughout the county, including Auburn, Bellevue, Seattle, Mercer Island, and Newcastle participated in the state's first-ever "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign from November 21, 2012 through January 1, 2013.
In all, 795 people were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Last year, during the same time period officials in King County say officers on routine or extra patrols arrested 960 people for DUI.
The number of people arrested statewide during the campaign totaled 3,446.
