Andy Ellis is charged with eight counts of residential burglary and two counts of theft. But police say those charges don't even scratch the surface of the 100 burglaries Ellis told police he's responsible for within just the last eight months.

Firefighters were kept busy Saturday morning after fast moving flames quickly spread from one home to a second home in the 8300 block of 128th Avenue Southeast.

As first reported, officials say the fire appeared to have started in the chimney of the first home.

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) - Privatizing liquor sales in Washington state hasn't brought prices down, as some hoped it would.

The Daily Herald reports the cost of liquor in Washington went up six months ago, right after the changeover, and has mostly stayed that way.
