Man shot twice during drug deal, drives himself to hospital
Police respond to Northwest Hospital after the shooting.
SEATTLE - Police are investigating after a 45-year-old man walked into Northwest Hospital early Wednesday with gunshot wounds to the chest and arm.

Detectives said the man drove himself to the hospital at about 1:10 a.m. and said he had been shot during a drug deal in the vicinity of North 92nd Street and Woodlawn Avenue North.

A preliminary investigation found that the man met with three other men during the drug deal. As the four of them discussed the matter in and around the victim's black Cadillac Escalade, things did not go as planned.

One of the three suspects pulled out a handgun and shot the victim twice. All three suspects fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction and remain at large.

None of the victim's property was successfully taken during the altercation.

The victim fled the scene in his Cadillac and drove himself directly to the emergency room at Northwest Hospital for treatment of his non-life-threatening injuries. From there he was taken to Harborview Medical Center for further treatment.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 911 or the Seattle Police Robbery Unit at (206) 684-5535. Anonymous tips are welcome.
