A 35-year-old Edmonds man was charged Wednesday with attempted kidnapping for allegedly trying to snatch a 4-year-old boy from his family over the weekend in Seattle.
In what is possibly the second attempted child abduction in Queen Anne in two days, a man tried to get into a car with a 4-year-old boy left alone by his mother Monday, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The stranger tried to grab the boy away from his grandmother's hand about 9:30 a.m. at 5th Ave. and Broad Street while the boy's family was participating in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
