New details in Clare Shelswell investigation

KOMO 4 reporter Luke Ducey spoke with the Mason County Prosecutor today and has a few new details:

Wilson waived his speedy filing (until July 12th)– meaning they don't have to file charges in 72-hours and can still hold him on the $3-million bail.

The prosecutor tells us "Wilson said he did it" and at some point they are expecting to charge him with 1st degree murder.

At this point the prosecutor is holding off on filing charges to allow the investigation to continue.

Questions investigators are still hoping to answer involve any history (whether criminal or mental health) for Wilson and more regarding the relationship between Wilson and Clare.
