SHORELINE, Wash. -- One person was burned when a fire broke out in a Shoreline home Thursday evening.

Firefighters were called to the home the 18300 block of Stone Ave. N. just after 4 p.m., fire officials said. The fire was under control in 10 minutes.

The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle but their condition is not known.

Investigators are still looking into what caused the fire. There was a report of an explosion, but while Shoreline fire officials can't yet confirm an explosion, they say tires blew out on vehicles in the driveway.
