SEATTLE - A bicyclist suffered serious injuries when he was struck by a car Thursday morning near Boeing Field, police said.

Medics performed CPR on the victim. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with serious injuries, said Mark Jamieson of the Seattle police.

A preliminary investigation found that the bicyclist and a Nissan sedan were heading south along Airport Way South when the car struck the bicyclist, who was knocked off the bike.
