Police: 3 men steal babysitter's pay at gunpoint

SEATTLE -- A longtime babysitter was leaving work Tuesday in Beacon Hill when she was robbed by three men with a gun, leaving her extremely shaken, according to the Seattle Police Department.

According to the police report for the incident, the victim had been babysitting for a family for four years. She left work around 4 p.m. having been paid $200.

While walking in the 1700 block of South Waite Street minutes after leaving work, three men confronted the victim. One of the men reportedly pointed a gun at the victim and told her to give him her money.

The victim told the men she didn't have any money, but they grabbed her purse and the phone out of her pocket while telling her not to yell, according to the report.

The men got into a car and drove off with the victim's phone and $380, along with other items.
