Police: Man injured in apparent drive-by shooting

SEATTLE -- A man suffered a minor hand injury in an apparent drive-by shooting early Friday near Colman Playground, according to the Seattle Police Department.

According to police, the 20-year-old man was walking near 24th Avenue South and South Grand Street shortly after midnight when a lime-green Chevy Caprice drove by.

Someone inside the Caprice reportedly fired three shots at the victim, who told officers he was hit in the hand.

After the man ran off and called 911, he was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of a minor abrasion on his hand.
