Costumed robber holds up Tacoma bank
TACOMA, Wash. -- Police are looking for the serial bank robber who targeted a downtown Tacoma bank on Friday afternoon.

Police say a man dressed as a construction worker walked into an American West Bank at 1:15 p.m. and showed the teller a note demanding cash.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money and robber, who's described as a white man in his 50s, walked out. Nobody was injured.

Police believe the same man has robbed two other banks in the past week, and in each incident he dressed in a different costume. In one robbery he dressed as a woman, and in the other he wore a bicyclist outfit, according to police.

During Friday's robbery he wore a tan, collared shirt with a brown baseball hat, blue jeans, sunglasses and an orange construction vest with reflective yellow stripes on the shoulders.

Police say the man stands roughly 6-feet tall and weighs about 190 pounds. Anyone with information about the robber is asked to call police.
