A man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly throwing a half-full can of beer at a Seattle Police Department officer. To the man's credit, he at least immediately realized it was a stupid thing to do.

A University of Washington student was beaten with a chrome socket wrench Tuesday afternoon by a man who told a witness, "He touched my girl," according to the Seattle Police Department.
