SEATTLE -- Police are on the hunt for an armed robber who's held up four local marijuana paraphernalia shops in the past few weeks.

The crime spree began November 21 at Mary Jane's House of Glass in Federal Way. Police say a white man in his 20s walked into the shop and began browsing through the glass pipes.

He eventually picked out a pipe and asked an employee to ring him up. During the transaction, the robber pulled out a handgun and said, "Nothing personal, but I'm going to need everything out of the register," according to police.'

The man left with the cash and the pipe.

The very next day, the same man walked into another House of Glass shop in Tacoma. Again, he drew a gun, told the clerk it was "nothing personal" and left with the store's cash.

The robber took a week off, but returned to his ways last Tuesday when he robbed two Puffin Glass Studios shops in Renton and Seattle.

Police say he made off with cash and paraphernalia and again assured the workers the robberies weren't personal.

Police say the man has short hair, a slight build and stands roughly 6'3" tall. He may have left the scene of at least one of the robberies in a gray sedan.

Seattle, Federal Way, Renton and Tacoma police are now investigating.
