Cheese it! Woman wanted for alleged hot nacho-cheese attack

SEATTLE -- It's like that old joke says: What do you call cheese that doesn't belong to you? Nacho cheese (that you refused to pay for then lobbed at a convenience-store employee).

A woman assaulted a 7-Eleven clerk with a hot bag of nacho-cheese topping when he asked her to pay for the cheese-flavored goo Monday morning in West Seattle, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The woman bought a bag of Doritos shortly before 1 a.m. at the convenience store near Southwest Barton Street and 35th Avenue Southwest. According to police, the woman then opened the bag of chips and started filling it from the store's nacho-cheese dispenser.

The clerk told the woman she would have to pay for cheese, and she started screaming at him before launching a chips-and-cheese projectile at his head, according to police.

The clerk, now covered in hot cheese, followed the woman into the parking lot to get her license-plate number. But, she punched him in the back and drove off in a silver Chevy Malibu, according to police.

The woman, who the clerk believes is a regular at the store, reportedly called officers later and said she would come down to the precinct to talk. But, she never showed.
