District Court official charged in flashing incident on Metro bus

SEATTLE -- Paul Emhoff, a former chief administrative officer for King County District Court, has been charged with indecent exposure in connection with a flashing incident last month on a King County Metro bus.

According to the King County Sheriff's Office, Emhoff was riding a West Seattle-bound bus Oct. 17 when he moved the briefcase he was holding, revealing his genitals to a woman seated near him.

The victim, who charging documents state was shocked and disgusted, yelled at Emhoff, who got off the bus and ran down the street, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Emhoff was identified as the suspect and arrested Nov. 14. He is scheduled for arraignment Dec. 4.
