Yelm man injured in I-90 motorcycle crash

A Yelm man was injured Friday night in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 90 west of Cle Elem.

The Washington State Patrol says that the man was riding his 1997 Harley Davidson FXDS eastbound on I-90 near Exit 78 around 6 p.m. when one of his tires went flat. He lost control and crashed.

The 46-year-old man driving the bike was transported to Kittitas Valley Community Hospital in Ellensburg for treatment of head and leg injuries. His passenger, a 43-year-old woman also from Yelm, was unhurt in the crash.
