Duran Duran's Sunday gig at Marymoor Park, and its $50 tickets, was the talk of the BBQ this weekend. Even the most die-hard former(?) fans had to admit it was a steep price to see how Simon Le Bon had held up (or not.) It's not just cash- strapped has-beens (er, legends) cashing in.

Bumbershoot charges $35 for a single day ($50 after 8/22.) It's $60 bucks for Portland's 4-day MusicFestNW and those coveted Sasquatch tix can cost you up to $76.50 for a single DAY! Say goodbye to a world where you could save up your babysitting money to see Madonna at the Kingdome or Prince at the Tacoma Dome.

How much would you pay to see your favorite performer? Do you think tickets prices are out of line?
