Italian Bread SaladBy Todd JohnsonIngredients
DirectionsMix bread and vegetables in a bowl. Puree garlic in a food processor. Add basil leaves and grind to a paste. Pour in Balsamic vinegar. Slowly drizzle in olive oil with machine running. Season with salt and pepper. Pour dressing over salad. Let sit at room temperature until dressing soaks into bread. Mix well. Serves 4.Recipe from Pamela Sheldon Johns, author "Balsamico" cookbook |
