Ahi Tuna Tacos with Mango Salsa

DirectionsTo make ginger sauce, whisk wasabi with 1 tsp. water. Add ginger, garlic, rosemary, honey, peanut oil, rice wine vinegar, lime juice and soy sauce. Cook over medium heat until smooth. Add cornstarch mixed with 1 tsp. water. Remove from heat. Add 3 Tbl. sauce to mayonnaise.
To make mango salsa, combine mango, tomato, pickled ginger, shallots, jalapeno and 1/4 tsp. salt and pepper.
Rub tuna with olive oil. Season with 1 tsp. salt and pepper. Grill to medium rare. Top warm tortilla with ginger mayonnaise, tuna, ginger sauce and mango salsa. You can also add shredded cabbage and chopped green onions. Serves 4.

Spent Thanksgiving with family and friends at Fisherman's on Pier 57.
Every year Retail businesses go through the same event of working on Thanksgiving Day. But at least with that job, Corporate will offer a good meal to the employees that are told it is mandatory to work on that Holiday.
Less than two weeks ago it was single digits here, probably made it into the low 40's the past few days. Lilac has new buds all over it and this one has started to grow.
