When planting bare root blueberry plants soak roots in water for a couple of hrs for re-hydration.

Prepare in about a 2 1/2 sq. root area for each plant

Add peat moss to planting soil to create acidic soil conditions

2 1/2 ft apart for hedgerows and 4-6ft apart for individual plants

First season remove flower buds to let plant establish for healthy branches

As plant matures remove older branches

Blueberries are a shallow rooted plant, so plant crown of plant slightly above soil level.

Blueberries are moisture loving plants so deep water them during the spring and summer season.

Rule of Thumb: 2 bushes per family member if you're a Blueberry fanatic.
