Big doings tonight at the Ballard branch library tonight

At 6:30 p.m., children's author Polly Horvath reads from "Northward to the Moon," the much-anticipated sequel to "My One Hundred Adventures."

Copies of the book will be available for sale and signing.

Also at 6:30 p.m., there will be a discussion on the Persian Gulf, the fifth in the series Great Decisions 2010, a national civic-education program to learn about and discuss world events. Reigstration for this event is requested. Call 684-4089 to register.
