Of the 4 automotive programs offered at Renton Technical College, their Automotive Technology and ITEC Automotive Technician programs both offer customer repair services for less than what they would pay in the industry.
Where the students are in the curriculum will determine what they can work on. They learn to work on transmissions, brakes and some engine work. Each shop replicates the workplace to give students actual hands-on experience. The massage clinic is offered in the spring (April 21 – June 11). Students provide a variety of one-hour massages for $30. Those massages include: Swedish, Compression Routine, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Relaxation and more. Appointments can be made by calling 425-235-2352, ext. 5305.
Their dental clinic is offered in winter and spring quarter. A dentist and hygienist are hired, giving their dental assistant students an opportunity to work alongside them. The clinic offers full dental service, excluding implants and implants surgery, teeth whitening, and braces.

Their Professional Baking program provides fresh baked goods every morning, Monday – Friday from 7:00am – 1:00pm. Students learn to bake bread, cookies, pastries, pies, cakes, doughnuts and much more.
The bakery is open to the public and also takes special orders for cakes. You can order a small 8” round to a wedding cake. Again, depending on where the students are at in the curriculum, will determine how complex a cake can be made. This is their fine dining restaurant on our campus. Culinary Arts students create, plan and execute the menu offered each week. Customers enjoy salads, sandwiches, entrée’s and much more, all prepared by talented students. This gives students real-world experience and gives them the opportunity to apply the skills they have learned. The Culinaire Room is located in the Robert’s Campus Center, Bldg I and is open from 11:15am – 1:00pm Monday – Friday.
