I spent two of my teenage years at Fort Lewis, WA.  During that time I remember Washington and Oregon crazy with rock and roll. The Beatles and all of the home grown bands like the Wailers, Paul Revere & the Raiders, the Sonics, the Beachwalkers, the Kingsmen.  I used to go to the Tacoma National Guard Armory to see fabulous local bands. KJR with Pat O'day was king and McDonald's had cops in the parking lot because so many kids would show up just to past the time.Â
Man, those stories were classic! Yeah I was just remebering those 2 from that Beatles special with Eric Slocum as well. Don't forget the story where they were fishing from the Edgewater hotel room. Definitely a cleaner story than Zeppelin's experience at the Edgewater (if you know that one.) Guess I'll have to tune in for Rain tomorrow. THX for that info! :)
