I'm not a big fan of Almond Roca, Â but I took some with me to Colorado as a gift over the holidays. Â Nobody ate it. Â It was like, "that's your grandmother's candy."
Made in America! That's so cool. I had no idea that those pink tins were from the Pacific Northwest- let alone Tacoma Wa⦠I thought Washington was only home to Twlight and rain... Anyways- so glad that my aunt sent me this video

oh what a wonderful memory. I used to share Roca with my grandmother when I was young. Now I share it with my own grandchildren. Matt and Komo news- Thank you for sharing.
Just saw this frm the World of roca twitter feed. Nice story. Strange comment though- It's public knowledge that the Roca formula hasn't changed in 100 years- and that only the equpiment they use to make it has been seriously updated. The reporter even said as much.So obviously- the anti-roca comments are strange. Why would you post here with negative comments? Seems like a weirdly nasty thing to say-Â angry competitor perhaps?Â
OMG! Just watched the video from the Almond Roca Facebook page⦠I've always wanted to tour the factory⦠maybe some day I'll be like Charlie in the Almond Roca factory! Golden ticket anyone?
I do love it, but it was so much better before they had to cut the real butter so it would not spoil so quickly. Ok maybe not so much better, but I really could taste the difference when they changed the recipe. I remember we had to eat it fairly quickly or it molded. Well twist my armâ¦â¦..:-)Â
One of the best things to ever come from tacoma.
Tast like it came from Tacoma. Only my teeth driller likes this candy.

I hear it's really popular in China.
@JustSayin Well you and your family have low brow tastes of a troglodyte then.

Thanks for this video. Almond Roca was my grandmother's favorite. Its still part of our holiday traditions.
How can you not LOVE Almond Roca?!?!? So delicious- it's seriously my favorite candy of all time. And the new Dark roca is so good too!Â
@TaylorL Don't forget the Cashew Roca!
To each their own, I think Almond Roca is disgusting. I love the Brown and Haley Mountain bars, though.
