A little after 10pm it was dark enough for the aurora to begin to show through breaks in the clouds. The combination with the moonlight was nice, until it clouded completely over and began to rain. As late as 3am I could still see the glow through the clouds in the north.
Whatever...it was only a KIA.
Glad no one was hurt...but LOL...that's what you get for drinking and driving!! Bet he won't do that again!
Double whammy, the insurance company won't cover the loss of the automobile. He was using it during the commission of a crime (DUI)
They're lucky the car was the only thing demolished.
Something similar to that scenario happened here a couple years ago except there was no train involved. Â Somebody was picked up for DUI, got processed, called a friend for a ride, the ride showed with two other passengers, other driver was drunk, all four were dead in an accident an hour later.
So, you're drunk and you need to phone a friend. Here's a piece of advice. Don't use your one call to call another drunk friend. It just never works out.
Serves the idiots right. They should take all of the drunk drivers cars and stick them on train tracks.
@I Like Meat the drunk drivers seem to put their vehicles onto the train tracks all by themselves quite frequently
the problem is sometimes the vehicle can cause a train to derail if it gets stuck on the tracks in a position that prevents it from being thrown to one side or the other
Boy that was exciting....
