Facial recognition software I think the story should be about that little detail rather than about smiling.  If I was told that in Washington I would claim freedom of speech/expression and make sure it had a hard time recognizing me if I didn't call the ACLU first and ask for legal help.
Meh, I prefer not to smile in my pictures so it doesn't bother me any.Â
