A little after 10pm it was dark enough for the aurora to begin to show through breaks in the clouds. The combination with the moonlight was nice, until it clouded completely over and began to rain. As late as 3am I could still see the glow through the clouds in the north.
The Forest Service is closing the Glacier Creek Road (Forest Service road 39) near Glacier, Washington to vehicle traffic at mile one close to Thompson Creek due to a washout located at mile 2.7.
Doesn't anyone have any shame anymore? Dignity? Self respect????
No more reality TV, PLEASE! Â There are so many people now who are narcissistic enough to think people want to watch them and hope for a reality series. Â Enough already.
Maybe the pickles are good but nobody gives a rats patooty about this family enough to care to see them on a reality show. Don't they know there's already a Honey Boo Boo on TV?
Â
Some of the best pickles I have ever had! I think you can get some at Tacoma Boys or H and L produce!
Â
I have one word... Portlandia
 @My-celiums I can pickle that!Â
These are the best pickles, I am addicted and I know they are made right here in the Pacific NW!
Haven't seen or tried these but if you have looked at ANY brands of dills lately, MOST are from India. Check out my favorite Nalleys sold at Costo....from India. No thank you
 @camsgram That's a very disappointing fact. I have Safeway brand "bread and butter dills" in my fridge and the label says they come from cali or at least distributed from there. Who knows where anything comes from anymore. The guy at the meat counter told me that unless the label on meat says "USA" only then the meat can come from ANYWHERE and it's doesn't have to be disclosed specifically because just saying it isn't from the USA is good enough. Gross.
@camsgram
Some company that bought "Farman's Pickles", in Enumclaw. Only to pack it up, change the recipe, and ship production to India.
Â
Farman's Pickles use to be the best!
 @camsgram That is PRECISELY why I did not purchase pickles the last time I was at Costco- "Product of India". Yep, I read the label- Nalley sold out a while ago IIRC... bummer.
@camsgram Amen, and seriously - thank you for bringing that to people's attention. Too many companies, and their distributors right down the line are continually phasing in this imported crap.
PEOPLE BEWARE, AND READ THE LABELS!!!!!!!!!
Bought a jar of the sweet pickles and they are mushy! Poor quality.
 @animallover I am so sorry you received a mushy jar! We strive to always make crispy, crunchy pickles, but because they are handmade occasionally something happens. Please contact us at info@lynnaesgourmetpickles.com and we will get a new jar to you!
@Lynnae's Gourmet Pickles @animallover
@Lynnae's Gourmet Pickles @animallover Something happens because they are handmade?
This newbie company is going up against food companies that's been in the business WAY longer then them? Are you kidding me? Go do some more research.
 @Lynnae's Gourmet Pickles "...because our pickles are handmade, there are no machines or chemicals to ensure 100% accuracy." I wonder if Farmans or Vlassic would believe that statement.
@picklefan754 @Lynnae's Gourmet  "...I think I'll stick with Farman's..."
Â
Pickles Awfully low standards you set for yourself, there, boss.
 @Lynnae's Gourmet Pickles "...because our pickles are handmade, there are no machines or chemicals to ensure 100% accuracy." Something is wrong with that statement. I think I'll stick with Farman's.
 @Lynnae's Gourmet Pickles Best customer service answer......you'll go far.Â
Yes, if they don't get the correct amount of pressure when sealing, they can become mushy. This doesn't happen often, but because our pickles are handmade, there are no machines or chemicals to ensure 100% accuracy.
Very good pickle! I tried and bought 3 jars  from the Wine & Food Experience Event at Seattle Center Exhibition Hall last year.
