We have a small covey of Morning Doves that has grown from 2 adults to somewhere between 10 and 12 over the past 7 years. They visit the feeder in the mornings and evenings.
While on vacation to the Washington coast, I came across hundreds of these natural sand sculptures on the beach. They were being made as I was there by strong winds blowing across the sand and carving out these sand forms. This picture serves to remind me just how fragile our lives are.
