Washington State University announced Friday that it will be naming a building at The Edward R. Murrow College of Communication in honor of KOMO 4 News anchor Kathi Goertzen.
I don’t know that any of us at KOMO can even begin to express how much you have meant to us in the last several days. Kathi’s death struck us to our core. Our hearts have been breaking.
What a lovely lady she was !!
I also remember when she went to Italy for the Amanda Knox story, and best of all, when she went up with the Blue Angels! :) Guess she's one angel soaring higher than those F-18s now.
I am in shock with great sadness at the unexpected passing of Kathy. I always felt that the medical condition she was battling would be beaten. She was always so entertaining to watch over the years. Kathy,....I, personally will miss your radiant smile and magnetic personality. I bid you peaceful rest with your God, Kathy.Â
