The Oregon Liquor Control Commission on Wednesday narrowly rejected placing an additional 25-cent-a-bottle surcharge on the price of distilled spirits.

If the surcharge had passed, it would have raised a projected $16.

NEW YORK (AP) — Target Corp. is planning a new organic and natural store brand as it works to rev up its grocery business.

The big-box retailer said the new brand, called Simply Balanced, will start with drinks and snacks like corn chips on Sunday.

So it's no surprise that she's taken aim at one of the longest-standing icons of potentially problematic messaging: Barbie. This week, Lovato has been telling her Twitter followers to tweet at the official Barbie twitter account and ask that Mattel create a more realistic doll.
